sister shoot

so, i did a photoshoot for two of my best friends, heather & hannah.

they are so close that we decided it would be a "sister shoot"

& they just so happened to be wearing almost matching outfits that day.

so it worked out perfectly.

first we went to these railroad tracks,

they arent used anymore & they are very beautiful.

next we went on a hike, & we found a stream.

we took photos there for a long while.

& on the way back from the hike, we found these huge dandilions,

& lots of other gorgeous flowers.

park city weekend & mary

i had a huge blessing over the past weekend

i got to spend the night in lovely park city 

with my sister, one of my best friends, and my mom.

it was so much fun.

there was lots of good food, good company,

picture taking, guitar playing, hot-tubbing,

smiling, singing, laughing, jesus,

and just being us.

let the wind blow..

today has been quite fun.

i spent the morning at church, the afternoon at coffee,

and the last couple of hours finding new music and being lazy.

some new and notable bands that i've found are:

arbor

fox & fair

the high jump heart

the lighthouse & the whaler

she said save me

yellow red sparks

the mighty sequoyah

you should give them all a look.

they are all incredible.

// i really love you //

this is what happens when im all alone in my house

and i start drawing while watching "the x-factor"

and eating homemade butternut squash soup

and spilling some on my brand-new used flannel shirt

and wondering what to do next

AND INSPIRATION STRIKES

i hurriedly grab some paper towels and get them wet and put soap on them

i wash off that soup like a humming bird or something crazy like that

then i dash up the stairs and grab my camera and my tripod

and run outside

trying to avoid my dog doesnt really work

she gets in a couple of the pictures

and climbs all over me as i try to pose

in a way that is good for a poem but wont look too weird 

if a neighbor happens to look over our fence

and sees me pretending to be a model

anywho, i have lots of fun

and i really love you.

yeah my dog is so cute right

// i walked outside //

i walked outside and saw um.. plants.

so then i ran back inside and grabbed my camera all ninja-quick-like

and zoomed out the door

before i left i blew out a fall candle, leaves from bath and body works

i got a picture of the smoke too

then i tried to keep my dog lucy from going outside with me

she is kind of annoying on photoshoots 

she just wants me to play

anyways, i took pictures of the flowers until the bees came

then i ran for my life

and then the tomatoes

until i realized that there were bugs on those too

then i went to the garden with the wishing well

yea i have a wishing well in my backyard

dont you?

then i freaked out because of a burst of inspiration

i grabbed my tripod and took hair filp pictures

so cool right

yea not so much

okay well now you should probably look at the pictures

since you just spent a minute of your life reading this

message about them

so yeah
