Chewy Toffee Chip Cookies
>> Tuesday –
food,
lovely things,

For as long as i can remember, i've baked...
I found a recipe a while ago that was for the best toffee chip cookies ever,
but i like to make my cookies chock full of things.
I tried keeping the recipe the same but adding another bag
(or even a half bag) of toffee chips, but it was too much.
I didnt know what i was doing wrong!
I decided to whip up my own recipe.
To make them literally the best Chewy Toffee Chip cookies,
I added some chocolate chips to the recipe...
Ingredients
2 1/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
3/4 cup white (?) sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 package Heath Toffee bits (the ones without the chocolate on them.)
1 cup Chocolate chips
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
2. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt
3. in another bowl, cream (with a mixer or hand mixer) together butter and sugars.
4. Add eggs. Keep creaming. Add vanilla. Cream until combined.
5. Taste it. Its amazing.
6. Add about 1/2 of the flour mixture and keep beating until combined. Add the rest of the flour and beat until combined.
7. Stir in the toffee and chocolate chips. (You may also wanna taste it again!)
8. Put aluminum foil or oil cooking spray on a cookie sheet. Drop the cookies on the sheet, making sure there is enough spacing between cookies. Usually 10-12 cookies fit on my pan.
9. Bake for 10 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean and they look golden brown.
10. Enjoy while they're hot! :)
They get eaten really fast!!! Have fun!
