Lace Bow Headband

Hi there!

A few days ago I thought of a really cool idea based on the Lace Flower Bobby Pins and I wanted to show you guys!!

This is a lace bow on a hair clip that I made! Guess what?!? I MADE A TUTORIAL!! So now you can have one too :)

You'll Need....
A needle and thread
About 14 inches of lace
A headband or double-pronged hair clip
Scissors
Cut a piece of lace at about 12 inches...
Fold it about 1/3 of the way in.
Fold the other side in to meet the bottom...
Thread the needle... (isnt this a cool picture?!?)
Pull the needle through the center(ish) of the lace (as shown...)
Continue to sew through until you get to the other side... Pull the string so that it will bunch up (as shown)
Repeat the last step a few times, then tie the string and cut it off

Take a small piece of lace (about 2 inches by 1 inch) and sew it in half (hamburger way? haha)
Keep the needle on, dont cut the string yet!!
Place the small piece under the bow and then stick the needle throught the other side of the little piece, making a ring of lace around the bow...
Keep sewing around it, but make sure you dont sew it too tight! It should look like this once you cut the needle off...
If you are making a hair clip, then just stick the top part of the clip under the bottom part of the bow's middle... or you can just hot glue it if you want!

Or slide it on to a headband! Again, you can hot glue it if you prefer :)

Ta Da! Hope you like it!! :)
