Rainbow Brite

Hey guys! I wanna show you something i found on Pinterest a while back..... Its called Hair Chalking... And i think its gonna become a HUGE trend. :)

This is so amazing. You just take some chalk, and rub it on your hair. Instant highlights that wash out in the shower. My first impression of it was... "Whoa. Does that REALLY work??!!"

Well..... turns out... it does. And i'm gonna show you how to do it :D

You'll need.....
A towel..... one that you dont mind getting kind of messy.
A straigtener or hair curler
chalk (any kind will do, but mine's crayola)
Hairspray (optional.... if you want it to stay better!)

Okay... so if you couldnt tell from the pictures, its suuuuuuuper easy! :)

Step 1: Take all the colors you want on your hair and set them each in a seperate cup full of warm water.

Step 2: Turn on your straightener or curler. Wrap a towel around yourself so that you wont get chalk all over your clothes... As you can see i ditched that plan and just did it and it got everywhere... dont be as stupid as me! Haha :)

Step 3: Once your chalk is fully wet and stops bubbling (yes. it will bubble... and fizz... its so cool! :D) take it and rub it on a small strip of hair as shown in a few pictures. Make sure you get everywhere on that strip, like the front, back, sides, and even the middle.

Step 4: OPTIONAL! :D Spray some hairspray on your fingers and rub it on the piece of hair...

Step 5: Let it sit for a few minutes while you do some other pieces, then straighten or curl it to "set" the color and make it blend in with the rest of your hair...

Step 6: Repeat until you have as many strips as you want!

Step 7: I wouldn't suggest brushing it. Only because the color tends to come out and it will end up looking like this:

See what i mean? It gets waaay lighter so i would just leave it alone... :)

I hope you have fun with your colorful hair!!!
